BLAST created animal masks for “Parallel World Comedy: The Planet of the Except Apes” broadcasted on NHK BS Premium.
The program, consisting of short stories about various animal characters, was aired in two installments in January 2019.
A wide variety of animal masks ranging from birds to mammals, including a chicken, a dog, a raven, a crocodile, a panda, and a lion, were created with meticulous precision to look like lifelike creatures.
After changing the title to The Planet of the Except Apes Ⅱ”, Season Two was on air in September in the same year.
We produced animal masks of mother pig, little pig and Asian elephant as well as animals that played an active part in Season One.
